My wife and I are currently working here at Alberta, fortunately we had a chance to apply for the provincial nominee program and we submitted the PR application last Nov. 4, 2013, so we are now in the last stage of the processing and we are waiting for "the passport request", we're done with the medical, all requirements and Landing fee/RPRF, now, we are starting to worry because our work permit will be expired on april this year, is there any possibility that our application will be denied? what are the best way to avoid it? is there any other office that we can ask for help regarding this matter? we are hoping for your response. thanks

Thank you so much for the response, is that within 17 months(like could be earlier) or they have to wait until the said period is over?

Also Sir, one more thing, how about our medical? it's already expired last jan 27, 2015, is that going to be a problem, or are they going to ask for another one?

Better way is that you can call in the CIC office or online..
