Hi a couple of questions. If you can help I'd be really grateful...

First, I am a mothertongue English speaker, I've written books in English and teach in English: have I understood correctly, do I have to a IELTS exam?! This seems insane

Second, when is the deadline for the present FSW? I am racing to finish for 1 Jan, but I don't think I'll make it, particularly if i have to do IELTS. I know the new express system is coming in 1 Jan but does that mean that no further applications can be made after that date, save with the new express system? One lawyer friend told me that he thought that things might stay open a bit longer...

    Thanks!

Yes it is insane - everyone has to do the IELTS - no exceptions. The new express system isn't really that useful - I suspect the FSW program will continue into 2015.
