I'm wondering. If someone were to apply for a temporary visa, perhaps for work, is it possible to apply at the same time for a visitor visa? This could happen because the person is waiting for a labor market opinion or something on the part of the province and would like to visit in the meantime.

I also would like to inquire if this possible although I doubt that this is will be permitted. A visitor visa will not allow you to work so I guess we can only apply for a temporary visa if we wanted to work there.

Yes slovakhope, I believe you can. I think you need to apply for the work permit outside of Canada and then apply for a visitor visa. I don't see why they wouldn't let you.
