I have spent the best part of ten years travelling and living in some pretty offbeat countries throughout the world. I am wondering if my exposure to some of the more unusual illnesses and diseases could count against me. Any ideas or advice?

I obviously can't say for sure, but from what I have read I'd say immigration are concerned with different kind of health issues. TB and hepatitis are pretty common amongst many new immigrants, probably more so than anything tropical.
